WHAT TASKS YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Responsibility for the development, set-up and development of typical Mercedes-AMG driving conditions
• Elaboration and development of conceptual solutions to achieve driving dynamics goals with the highest standards
• Control and integration of all systems influencing driving dynamics to achieve the best possible driving behavior
• Basic and further development of all active and passive vehicle dynamics systems (e.g. kinematics / spring / dampers / elastokinematics / stabilizers / all-wheel drive) as well as further development and parameterization of the software and the subsequent validation of the system network to achieve series production readiness
• Coordination of driving dynamics systems in cooperation with adjacent development teams on test and race tracks at home and abroad
• Regular validation and optimisation of vehicle targets and vehicle maturity level (lap times, braking distances, press test manoeuvres, etc.)
• Communication of development progress within the organization
• Planning and execution of set-up runs on national and international test and race tracks

WHAT WE WILL EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, control engineering or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in vehicle dynamics development as well as extraordinarily good subjective vehicle assessment skills
• Very good vehicle control up to the limit / race tracks and Nordschleife experience desirable
• Understanding of the (system) relationships within vehicle dynamics tuning
• Routine in the use and evaluation of measurement and application systems (e.g. Vector) as well as vehicle diagnostics tools
• High willingness to travel and commitment as well as passion for the job
• Business fluent in English
